Published on the occasion of the 2023 exhibition ‘Shaanbei’ at Lisson Gallery New York, this full-colour, dynamic catalogue documents the most recent series by legendary Chinese painter Liu Xiaodong.
This marks the artist’s most ambitious and personally significant project to date, featuring large-scale paintings, works on paper, diary entries and a documentary.
