‘Tony Cragg: Line of Thought’ at the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park, Wuppertal, Germany
8 September 2025
From 20 July 2025 – 1 January 2026, Waldfrieden Sculpture Park presents ‘Tony Cragg: Line of Thought’. Tony Cragg's artistic work unfolds in a restless process of exploring the possibilities of material and transforming the world around us. His statement that "there are many more things that do not exist than there are that do" refers to a source of things and forms that still lie beyond our perception. For Cragg, sculpture is a method of tapping into this enormous potential for new forms and the associated meanings, dreams, and languages.
In his large exhibition, which spans all three exhibition halls, Tony Cragg presents works from various groups of works, including some of his glass sculptures made in Murano, as well as a series of drawings.
On the occasion of Tony Cragg's exhibition at the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park, Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König has produced a major publication titled "Tony Cragg – Line of Thought", which includes an essay by Jon Wood.
