The Gallery Climate Coalition's November Conference takes place 24 November

On Wednesday 24 November at the Barbican Centre in London, the Gallery Climate Coalition will hold its November Conference: Decarbonising the Art World.

Featuring an array of speakers from across the industry, the conference will include two panel discussions, as well as several shorter talks. The first discussion will focus on the potential for art to inspire social and ecological change. The second will discuss the practical measures the art world can take to improve sustainability and lower our collective carbon footprint, based on GCC research and data.

Lisson Gallery artist Haroon Mirza will participate in the first panel discussion, titled The Role of Art in Social and Environmental Change.
