Ryan Gander and Holly Walsh in Conversation at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, 13 September

On Sunday 13 September, Ryan Gander will join writer and comedian Holly Walsh to discuss art, ideas and the odd logic of making things. In the form of a one-off performance, the programme will be held at the De La Warr Pavilion and captured on film.
Reflecting Gander’s practice, the conversation will oscillate between the everyday and the esoteric, the overlooked and the commonplace, to investigate the ways language, storytelling and associative thinking shape creative practice. It will bring together perspectives from contemporary art, comedy and writing, foregrounding the role of humour and observation in informing new approaches to artmaking.
