Laure Prouvost creates first work for stage in new collaborative performance

20 January 2018

Laure Prouvost's first work for stage debuts at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the 9th and 10th of February.

Winner of the 2013 Turner Prize, Prouvost is known for weaving together fiction and fact to create complex and humorous stories that challenge the ways we create our own life histories. The performance has been created in collaboration with artist Sam Belinfante and renowned dance artist Pierre Droulers – one of Belgium and France’s leading choreographers – as well as musicians from Minnesota and New York.

The performance is presented as part of Prouvost's exhibition at the Walker Art Center, 'They Are Waiting for You', from 12 October 2017 until 11 February 2018.
