On 2 July, Sir John Akomfrah will be in conversation at the Royal Academy of Arts to discuss his practice and representing Britain in this year’s Venice Biennale.

The artist will be joined by Tarini Malik, Shane Akeroyd Associate Curator of the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2024, to talk through Akomrah's groundbreaking multi-channel film installations such as Vertigo Sea (2015), as well as his recent British Council commission Listening All Night to the Rain (2024), currently on view at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2024.
