Hans Berg's new immersive sound work to premiere at Art Basel Miami Beach
29 November 2017
Designed specifically for SoundScape Park's 160-speaker surround sound system, Hans Berg's new work 'Trance' (2017) is a hypnotic aural tapestry weaving together rainforest sounds, industrial noises, synthesizer rhythms and more. Based on his experiences composing both electronic dance music for clubs and atmospheric soundtracks for video artists, Berg utilises music's potential to transport listeners into a trance-like state.
The work will be presented each night from 7 to 9 December at 7pm in SoundScape Park, prior to the evening's film programming. The event is free to the public, but seating is limited. More information can be found on Art Basel's website.
