Group presentation of Lisson Gallery artists in London

Lisson Gallery's Bell Street space in London is now open by appointment with a presentation of works by a group of the gallery's artists, including Marina Abramović, Ai Weiwei, Allora & Calzadilla, Ceal Floyer, Ryan Gander, Hugh Hayden, Dom Sylvester Houédard, Anish Kapoor, Richard Long, Bernard Piffaretti, Leon Polk Smith, Laure Prouvost and Wael Shawky.

Coinciding with his online exhibition 'Coda' (10 – 23 August), three paintings in acrylic on canvas by Bernard Piffaretti are on view, as well as a 1968 Constellation oil on canvas by Leon Polk Smith. In Allora & Calzadilla's I have forgotten my umbrella (2011), a painted cast bronze bell rests precariously on a black fabric umbrella, and surreal journeys are depicted in a 2019 tapestry by Laure Prouvost, and Wael Shawky's glass and mirror Cabaret Crusades, Map 2 (2016). Installed in the gallery's courtyards are new sculptures by Richard Long and Hugh Hayden. Long's Quiet Skies Circle is comprised of slate from Delabole, Cornwall, whilst Hayden's Communion picnic table is formed from Chestnut wood also sourced and assembled in the south of England.

The presentation is on view until 18 September.
