Frieze Talks: Garrett Bradley in conversation with Arthur Jafa on 13 October

Overseen by independent curator Jeppe Ugelvig, the Frieze London Talks 2021 focus on artistic collaboration and economies of exchange. The programme taps into new and long-time relationships between artists and creatives to reflect on art within and across disciplines, taking place online and in person during the art fair. This year's series features a talk with Garrett Bradley and Arthur Jafa on 13 October.

Bradley's investigation into community unfolds between the art and film industries, and emphasises collaboration with a network of peers and mentors. She is joined by fellow filmmaker and artist, Arthur Jafa, to reflect on the possibilities of visual storytelling, social research, and the artworld as a place of film practice. The dialogue will be moderated by curator and art historian Mark Godfrey.

The talk will begin at 7pm on Wednesday 13 October at No.9 Cork Street, Frieze's new gallery space in Mayfair. Seating is limited. The discussion will also be streamed online.

Bradley's film A.K.A will be the focus of a solo presentation at Lisson Gallery's Frieze London booth (B02) on view in Regent's Park from 13 – 17 October.
