Allora & Calzadilla in conversation at Marciano Art Foundation, Los Angeles
12 December 2017
Artists Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla will discuss their collaborative practice and their works currently presented in Marciano Art Foundation's Latin American Artists in the Marciano Collection. Through a research-based approach, their works trace the intersections of history, material culture, and politics through a wide variety of mediums, namely performance, sculpture, sound, video, and photography. Based out of Puerto Rico, the pair’s perspective is from a unique intersection of both Latin America and the United States. The conversation is presented as part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA.
